For parents of children aged 6–17

A daily challenge your child can be proud of.

Ado gives your child 8 quick questions a day in maths, science, English, GK and reasoning, ranked only against students the same age. A weekly league to race in, a rank they earn and can never buy, and a short report for you every Monday.

Set up your familyHow it works

You create the account and consent for each child. Children under 18 never create an account.

  • Same age only
  • No ads
  • No chat
  • Ranks can’t be bought
  • Quiz questions checked by people
  • Parent consent first

Why it works

Screen time that pays back.

Most children would rather compete than revise. This gives your child the competition, and the practice comes with it.

  • Getting your child to practise is a daily battle.

    A reason to show up

A league place to defend and a streak to keep give your child a reason to come back each day.

  • Report cards arrive once a term.

    Progress every week

Every Monday you see their league place, points and rank, and the stars in each subject show where they are strong and where to help.

  • Most apps are built to keep children scrolling.

    Built to stop

8 questions and the daily is done.

  • Comparing children is unfair.

    Only their own age

Your child is ranked only against students the same age, in a weekly group of about 30 at a similar level, so every week is a race they can win.

Your child’s day

A few minutes. Every day.

Short enough to fit before school, college or dinner. Long enough to count.

  1. Every morning

    The daily opens

8 timed questions across 5 subjects. The younger the age group, the more time on the clock.

  2. After each answer

    See why

Each question shows the right answer and a short explanation, so a wrong answer still teaches something.

  3. Any time

    The 60-second sprint

Quick-fire sums and word meanings against the clock. The 3 fastest in the age group make the day’s podium.

  4. All week

    Points into the league

Every right answer earns points for the weekly league table, with a little extra for speed.

  5. Monday to Sunday

    The weekly challenge

3 bigger parts across the week, worth double points. It closes on Sunday at 21:00.

  6. Sunday, 21:00

    The league closes

The top of each group moves up a tier, the bottom moves down, and the winner wears a crown for the next week. A new group starts on Monday.

Boards

CBSE, ICSE (CISCE), Maharashtra State Board, Tamil Nadu State Board, Karnataka State Board, Telangana State Board, Andhra Pradesh State Board, Kerala State Board, UP Board and West Bengal Board

Ranked contests use questions every board covers, so a rank means the same on every board. Practice follows the student’s own class and syllabus.

How ranking works

Two races. One card.

A weekly league gives everyone a race they can win this week. The rank is the long game: earned slowly, and never reset.

A new race every week

Every Monday, students are placed in a league group of about 30 from their own age group, at a similar level. At the Sunday 21:00 close, the top 5 move up a tier and the bottom 5 move down (fewer in a smaller group).

A rank that’s theirs to keep

The Ado Rank is built from a student’s best 3 subjects and never resets. After 3 dailies it brings a title and a place in their age group.

  1. Rookie
  2. Challenger
  3. Contender
  4. Elite
  5. Prime
  6. Legend

Stars in every subject

Each subject earns 1 to 5 stars as the level rises, so strengths and gaps are plain to see.

Streaks for showing up

Badges at 7, 30, 100 and 365 days in a row. One streak freeze a week is free, so one missed day doesn’t undo a month.

What you get

You stay in charge.

You hold the account. Your child gets a handle and a PIN, never a login of their own.

  • A report every Monday

Their week in one message: points, dailies done, league place and rank. On WhatsApp or by email, free for every family.

  • Friends by code

A friend is added with their friend code, and they accept in their own profile. There is no chat.

  • Consent first

Nothing starts until you agree to what we collect and why. Change your choices or delete everything any time, with 48 hours to change your mind.

  • Certificates

Seasonal cups end with certificates for the top places, ready to download and print.

Setting up

How it works

  1. You sign in and consent

Read what we collect and why, then choose what your child may do. Nothing starts without you.

  2. You add your child

Their date of birth sets their age band. They get a fun handle like BraveOtter41, and you choose whether their first name shows beside it.

  3. They play on any screen

On your phone or tablet, or in a browser. Their own phone? A 6-digit code from the app links it to just their profile.

Safety and consent come first

  • No ads. No trackers.

Nothing to click away to. No third-party analytics or tracking inside the student app.

  • No chat between players

Players show a made-up handle, and their name only if the family chooses: a first name for anyone under 18. Never an age, a school, where they live or a photo. Our team checks every name.

  • Questions checked by people

Every quiz question is drafted with AI and checked by a person before any student sees it, and no student data is used to write them. The 60-second sprint’s sums and word meanings are computed by code, so they are not reviewed.

  • Ranks can’t be bought

The contests that set a rank are free. Only a parent, or a student aged 18–22 for themselves, can buy a membership, and nothing bought ever changes a rank.

  • Real ages, sealed groups

A parent enters a child’s date of birth, and that sets their age group; the child can’t change it. No adult shares a league, board or friend list with anyone under 18.

  • You hold the keys

Consent comes first. Delete your data any time, with 48 hours to change your mind.

Questions parents ask

Good questions.

How do I set it up?

Open the Ado app, or play in a browser. Sign in with Google or an emailed code, read what we collect and give consent, then add your child with their date of birth, class and board.

Is it free?

Yes. The daily, the sprint, the weekly challenge, leagues, ranks and streaks are free for everyone, and so is the weekly report for parents. An optional membership adds more practice, detailed insights and member-only looks. Nothing bought ever changes a rank.

How much time does it take?

The daily is 8 timed questions, usually done in a few minutes, and the sprint takes one.

Which boards and classes are covered?

Classes 1–12, English medium, on CBSE, ICSE (CISCE), Maharashtra State Board, Tamil Nadu State Board, Karnataka State Board, Telangana State Board, Andhra Pradesh State Board, Kerala State Board, UP Board and West Bengal Board. Ranked contests use questions every board covers, so ranks compare fairly; practice follows the student’s own class and syllabus. Students aged 18–22 have no board: they get aptitude, reasoning, quant, English and current affairs.

Can other players contact my child?

No. There is no chat or messaging of any kind. Other players see a made-up handle, and a first name only if the family chooses to show it. Never an age, a school, where they live or a photo. Friends are added with a friend code, and the other player accepts.

Who writes the questions?

Every quiz question is drafted with AI and checked by a person before any student sees it, and no student data is used to write them. The 60-second sprint’s sums and word meanings are computed by code, so they are not reviewed.

What does my child need?

A phone or tablet with the Ado app, or a browser. With two or more children on one account, each profile has its own 4-digit PIN. A child’s own phone can be linked to just their profile with a 6-digit code from the app.

Can I add more than one child?

Yes. Each child gets their own age group, handle and PIN under your one account. A family membership covers 2 or more children.

What happens when my child turns 18?

On their 18th birthday they agree for themselves, then keep playing on the family account. If they want their own account, they take the profile over with a handover code, and their rank history comes with them.

How do I delete our data?

In the app’s Settings, any time. Deletion runs after 48 hours, so there is time to change your mind, and you can download a copy of the data first.

What’s coming next?

Next up: written-answer and art challenges, judged blind by other students the same age and premium contests with their own trophies and certificates. They open after launch.
