About Ado, in one paragraph

Ado is a daily quiz and ranking for students aged 6–22 in India. Each day brings 8 questions in maths, science, English, GK and reasoning, and the Ado Rank shows where a student stands among others the same age. The rank never resets and can’t be bought; the contests that set it are free. From 2027, the top 1% of each age group earns the Ado Crown each year. Ado has no ads and no chat, and a parent sets up the account for anyone under 18. It is run by Reto Interactive Private Limited.

The words we use

  • Ado Rank, with a capital R: a student’s standing among others the same age.
  • Ado Crown <year>, e.g. “Ado Crown 2027”: the yearly honour for the top 1% of an age group.
  • Age group, not “class”: students are grouped by age, whatever their school or syllabus.
  • Please don’t call Ado an olympiad. It is a daily practice league that sits next to them.

Writing about children

We never share a child’s details with the press, and we ask that stories never identify a student under 18 without their parent’s written agreement.
