College applications

Put it on the application.

A rank is an achievement like any other: list it accurately, with its date, and give the reader a way to check it.

Verified statements are coming soon. Until then, a screenshot of the rank card with its date is the record.

What to list

  • The Ado Crown, if earned: a dated yearly honour for the top 1% of an age group. It is the strongest line, because it is scarce and fixed in time.
  • The Ado Rank on a date: the title, the share (“Top 8%”) and the age group, as shown on a verified statement.
  • Consistency: a long streak or months of steady play, as evidence of habit rather than a single result.

On the Common App

The Common App has an honours section for up to five academic honours, each with a title, the grade levels it was received in and a level of recognition (school, state or regional, national, or international). Choose the level that matches the scale the statement shows, and never round up.

A longer record, such as a year of daily play, fits the activities section, where there is room to say what the student did and for how long.

Daily timed quizzes in maths, science, English, GK and reasoning. Ado Rank: Elite, top 8% of 1,204 aged 15–17. 300-day streak.

Indian universities and scholarships

Many Indian university and scholarship forms ask for achievements, olympiads and competitions. List the rank the same way: the honour or title, the share, the age group and the date, with the statement attached where the form allows a document.

A CV or a school portfolio

One line is enough. Put the verification address next to it so a reader can check it in a minute.

How checking works

A verified rank statement carries a code. Anyone with the code can open adorank.com/verify and see the statement as it was made: the student’s first name, age group, title, share, place and date. Never a school, where they live, a date of birth or a photo, and search engines are asked not to list it. The family can withdraw a statement at any time; the check then says it was withdrawn.

Keep it honest

Admissions teams decide how much any achievement counts. The rank is strongest next to school results and other activities, as evidence of steady work. Quote the exact title and share from the statement, with its date.

How the rank is calculated · What the Ado Rank is

Kept for good. Never bought.

An olympiad is one morning a year. The Ado Rank is earned every day, against students the same age, and kept. It never resets, and nothing bought can change it.
