Daily practice

Daily logical reasoning practice for Classes 2–12

Logical reasoning is the section many students find hardest in school olympiads, and the one that improves fastest with regular practice.

Every daily has reasoning at the student’s own level: patterns and odd one out for the youngest, series, directions, coding and puzzles for the older groups.

Each subject earns 1 to 5 stars from its own rating, and the best 3 subjects build the Ado Rank.

What it covers, by age

  • Ages 6–8

Patterns, odd one out, simple sequences and sorting.

  • Ages 9–11

Number and letter series, directions, analogies.

  • Ages 12–14

Coding and decoding, blood relations, Venn diagrams, puzzles.

  • Ages 15–17

Arrangements, syllogisms, data sufficiency and multi-step puzzles.

Sample questions

  1. Two mangoes balance one papaya. How many mangoes balance two papayas?

    • 2
    • 3
    • 4
    • 6
    Show the answer

    Answer: 4

One papaya balances 2 mangoes. So, two papayas balance 2 plus 2, which is 4 mangoes.

  2. Aarav is taller than Bina. Bina is taller than Chetan. Who among the three is the shortest?

    • Aarav
    • Bina
    • Chetan
    • Cannot be determined
    Show the answer

    Answer: Chetan

Arranging the三人 from tallest to shortest gives Aarav, Bina, and Chetan. Therefore, Chetan is the shortest.

  3. A wooden cube has faces labeled with numbers 1 through 6. From one viewing angle, faces 1, 2, and 3 share a common vertex. From a second angle, faces 2, 3, and 5 share a vertex. From a third angle, faces 1, 3, and 6 share a vertex. Which number is on the face opposite to face 3?

    • 4
    • 5
    • 6
    • 2
    Show the answer

    Answer: 4

Faces 1, 2, 5, and 6 all share a vertex with face 3, making them adjacent to it. Because any cube face is adjacent to exactly four faces, the remaining face, 4, must be opposite.
